Fergie: We Want The Title At The Bridge

They may have played for a draw in Barcelona in midweek, but Sir Alex Ferguson has made it clear that Manchester United will be going all out for the win when they travel to Chelsea on Saturday.

Victory for United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday would secure back-to-back league titles, and make the Red Devils Premiership champions for the tenth time in Fergie's tenure at the club.

And having lost the title with a 3-0 loss to Chelsea at the Bridge two years ago, the Scot has challenged his players to avenge that defeat and claim the prize for themselves.

Massive

"It's a massive game and we're going to Chelsea to win the title," said Fergie "We've got to think that way. They haven't lost there in the league for 100 games, but records are there to be broken. It will be a different type of game to the one against Barcelona.

"We won't be faced with the type of possession that Barcelona had against us.But we'll make sure we address the way that Chelsea play and certainly impose ourselves better than we did against Barcelona."

Vidic In

Fergie also revealed that centre-back Nemanja Vidic will be fit to take the pitch this weekend. "He's been taking plenty of fluids and let's hope we can get him ready for Saturday morning. He'll want to have a go, he'll be desperate to play."
